B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
Requirements for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at IIE Kalyani.

MAKAUT, West Bengal – B.TechDuration: 4 years (8 semesters)
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must satisfy all of the following conditions to be considered for B.Tech admission.
Educational Qualification
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- One of: Chemistry / Computer Science / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject.
- Minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the above subjects taken together.
Entrance Examination
- Qualified in WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination), OR
- Valid JEE Main score, OR
- As per MAKAUT admission guidelines for the academic session.
Age Limit
- No upper age limit as per MAKAUT norms.
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.
